How To Take Perfect Selfies with Front Camera on Your iPhone ?
If in some previous articles we have discussed how to take photos with rear camera, this time turn using the front camera. For a narcissistic photo hobbyist or selfie, there are some tips you can do to create the best photos via the iPhone‘s front camera. Here is the list:
Know the performance of iPhone front camera. Since the iPhone comes with front and rear cameras (starting from the iPhone 4 generation), Apple has never made a front camera with higher specifications than the front camera. Currently the best front camera on the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus is 7 Megapixel. Another checklist can be found on the Apple website or via the MacTracker app.
Self-confident. If you are not used to appear in front of the camera, let alone pressing the shutter button while looking at the face on the screen, would feel awkward. Well, get used to selfie while looking towards the camera. Not toward the iPhone screen that makes the focal point of the eye so weird.
Selfie in landscape mode. Not always the selfie must be taken in upright display mode. Unlock lock rotation on your iPhone then capture a selfie moment with wide reach.
The shoot corner is important. As in the world of photography in commonly, you must know the best angle or eye level to create an interesting selfie. Do not hold iPhone for selfie mode lower than stomach or too high. The easiest way is to make a straight line from your guard and shoulder and tilt inward or outward a few degrees.
Light is everything. Because the front camera on the iPhone is lower in Megapixel quality than the rear camera, look for a room or a view with enough light. Also do not use the lighter part as your background, turn around and get a better light toward the face, then take a picture.
Press the shutter with the tool or Volume Up. If the virtual shutter on the iPhone screen feels hard pressed, just use the Volume Up button. You can also get a more solid grip and a good horizontal selfie mode.
Mainstay technique, rear camera + mirror. If you’re is not satisfied with the quality of the front camera on the iPhone, just use the rear camera. Then, how to see the preview of the picture? Have your friend hold the mirror as a reflection from the iPhone screen only. It’s easy, right
For closing, make sure you see the selfie results in the Photos app in the Selfie folder. Remove the unnecessary and make sure the rest is the best photo, also mark which one you like most through the Favorite feature.
